Suzanne Hilton’s academic and musical career has included work as a piano instructor and performer, choral director, professional accompanist, and university faculty.
Her primary instrument is the piano, and she maintains a private practice in Severna Park, MD, as a teacher of piano performance, music appreciation, and music theory.
She holds a Masters Degree and completed Ph.D. coursework in Music from the University of Maryland at College Park. She attended Catholic University in Washington D. C. as a graduate student in the department of Theology and Religious Studies. She has taught classical music history at American University in Washington, D.C., the University of Maryland in College Park, and currently teaches music history and piano at Montgomery College.
