Studio Tour Parents and siblings can wait comfortably in the studio waiting room during lessons. (free wifi available while you wait) Siblings can complete homework, draw, color, or use the marker board while lessons are in session. The studio powder room is handy for student to clip their nails or wash their hands before lessons. Students begin lessons at the table. Here, we play games, use the iPad, or learn music theory. Lesson assignments are printed out and placed in the student’s lesson binder each week. They are specifically written and updated every week and are designed for the student to read and understand easily at home. A real harpsichord is used with my students who are ready to begin early music study along with their regular classical piano studies. Each year, the harpsichord is taken to Reynold’s Tavern for a very special performance by my students. Students create their practice chains at the annual Back-to-School party. After each lesson they add more beads to their chain to show off all their progress. Parties, recitals, and piano friends make lessons here a really fun and positive experience here.
