Addison came ready to play and show his Christmas spirit!This year’s Bell Choir consists of Molly (not shown), Caroline, Addison, and Sarah. They rehearsed their bell choir pieces: Hark the Herald Angels Sing and Carol of the Bells.Colleen and Addison rehearsed the March from the Nutcracker Suite.Aaron and I rehearsed “Bells are Ringing” together.My bell choir are experts at rhythm and counting!April rehearses “Little Drummer Boy”Annabelle and I rehearsed the Overture from the Nutcracker Suite. Annabelle also rehearsed organ pieces by Bach and Handel.Sarah rehearses “”Welcoming the Guests” from the Nutcracker Suite.Abby rehearses “Uncle Drosselmeyer” from the Nutcracker Suite.Claire rehearses Clara and the Nutcracker, Spanish Dance, and Waltz of the Flowers from the Nutcracker Suite.Annaliese rehearses Grandfather’s Dance from the Nutcracker Suite.I sat in for Grace at the party and played the Pas de Deux from the Nutcracker suite.Caroline rehearsed the Snowflake Waltz and the Finale from the Nutcracker Suite.Zoey and I played the Arabian Dance from the Nutcracker Suite.Delaney and I rehearsed Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy from the Nutcracker Suite.Delaney rehearsed Debussy’s “The Snow is Dancing” from the Children’s Corner Suite.Colleen is fast becoming my teacher assistant! She is playing duets with the younger students, playing Sliegh Ride and Duet Fantasy on Jingle Bells with me, and she took the photos for me at the Rehearsal. Gosh, thanks Colleen!!!Only Aaron and April were present to play Sleigh Ride, so everyone gladly stepped in to help them out!We all made some old fashioned colonial tree ornaments with a clementine, cloves and some ribbon.Zoey is super crafty!Annabelle, Delaney, and Annaliese are hard at work!Our ornaments that sure smell yummy.
Sarah’s orange turned out great!Abby is also super crafty!Great job everybody!Aaron is enjoying hot cocoa with whipped cream….yummThe pizza finally arrived! (30 minutes late….hey, Papa John’s, can I get a free one next time??)Abby enjoys pizza after much work in the arts.Our pizza party rehearsal wouldn’t be complete without pizza and the Charlie Brown Christmas special on tv.
